Relax and unwind on our 10 acre hobby farm located just 10 minutes west of Sooke (or one hour west of Victoria) on fabulous Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. We have deer and rabbits on the property, as well as 2 miniature donkeys, 65 chickens, 3 fainting goats and 1 Nigerian mini goat.
We welcome well-behaved family pets at Gordon's Beach, bring them along!
We ask for your consideration, to keep your pet on leash when enjoying the property grounds and please keep your pet off the room furniture, in respect of future guests.

Explore 10 acres of private secluded property overlooking Juan de Fuca Strait and Olympic Mountains. The hobby farm is home to 65 chickens, 3 fainting goats and 1 Nigerian Mini Goat. Sightings of Bears at bottom of property.

Plan your day of adventure, perhaps you will be distracted by a pod of whales or the beautiful welcome tray upon arrival. Adventure and excitement, or, relaxation and pure enjoyment of the surroundings, you are sure to enjoy your stay. For returning guests, we are sad to inform we no longer provide the 'breakfast' you so enjoyed and hoping to return soon!
Sooke Potholes Provincial Park
Adjacent to the park is the Sooke River, there exists a series of deep, naturally carved and polished rock pools. A small parking area with facilities that is managed by the District of Sooke. This area is a favourite day-use destination for many local and regional residents.
French Beach Provincial Park
Situated on the scenic Strait of Juan de Fuca on the west coast of southern Vancouver Island, French Beach Park offers much more than just beautiful hiking trails through lush forests. A wide swatch of green lawn fronts this sand and pebble beach, where visitors can relax and enjoy a picnic or take a cool dip in the ocean.
