Gordon's Beach Farm Stay



Gordon's Beach Farm Stay & Muir Cabin features panoramic ocean and mountain views overlooking the Olympic Mountains,

Strait of Juan de Fuca, and Sheringham Point Lighthouse.


We have changed to a farm stay from a B&B, we no longer serve breakfast each morning.


Relax and unwind on our 10 acre hobby farm located just 10 minutes west of Sooke (or one hour west of Victoria) on fabulous Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. We have deer and rabbits on the property, as well as 2 miniature donkeys, 65 chickens, 3 fainting goats and 1 Nigerian mini goat.

Plan your day of adventure, perhaps you will be distracted by a pod of whales or the beautiful welcome tray upon arrival.


Adventure and excitement, or, relaxation and pure enjoyment of the surroundings, you are sure to enjoy your stay.


For returning guests, we are sad to inform we no longer provide the 'breakfast' you so enjoyed and hoping to return soon!




10 acres



Explore 10 acres of private secluded property overlooking Juan de Fuca Strait and Olympic Mountains. The hobby farm is home to 65 chickens, 3 fainting goats and 1 Nigerian Mini Goat. Sightings of Bears at bottom of property.

Plentiful bird and wildlife - ideal for bird watching.

See whales from the breakfast table.

Visit Botanical Beach Provincial park located 3 km south of Port Renfrew. Rich with marine life and amazing tidepools.

French Beach Provincial Park is another amazing local fav, beautiful trails, whale watching from shore and waterfront picnic areas. This 59 hectare park runs along the spectacular Straight of Juan De Fuca. ​

Juan de Fuca Marine Trail stretches from China Beach to Botanical Beach. Day hiking and ocean viewing is stupendous. View roaring surf and coastal marine life such as sea lions. This is just 13 km NW of French Beach.

Carmanah Walbran Provincial Park is another area not to be missed. This park was declared in 1990 to protect the 'legendary giants' (Sitka Spruce). The giant of them all is 95 metres, and thought to be the tallest Sitka Spruce in the world. 20 km NW of Port Renfrew. ​

Galloping Goose Trail is 60 km of trail that connects Victoria to Leechtown. Cycling, hiking, horse riding and inline skating on paved portions. This trail was named after the 1920's gas powered passenger car.

East Sooke Regional Park is 3500 acres along the Juan de Fuca Strait, weaving through forests with several easy public access points.

Diane's place is beautiful.
The suite we stayed in was perfect. It had everything we needed. Super comfy bed, a kitchenette with plug in stove top, fridge, plates/bowls, cutlery, coffee/tea, a TV with all the apps to watch anything/everything on ... but the winner is the property.

We had days where we'd rather stay on the property admiring the view of the ocean from her farm with visits from the cutest little kitty and the many friendly chickens then to drive over to the beaches.

We wanted to get away to relax and that was definitely accomplished at Dianes'.

"Our unit was comfortable, ultra clean and well appointed: thick, absorbent towels, a glorious view and all we needed to feel at home.
Then there are the well loved and wonderful animal family members: cat Sunny, dog Nellie, goats Jimmy, Robert, Lucy and Billy and dozens of relaxed hens.
The sunset views from Gordon's Beach are nothing short of spectacular. Easy driving distance to various parks, beaches and restaurants.
